The need for sustainable peace process in our society is the basis upon which this initiative was founded. As we match into the general elections, it is imperative that efforts are put together to promote and incise peace in other to forestall violence. National Peace Dialogue will bring together, Political Figures, Diplomatic Community, Technocrats, Traditional Rulers, Nigeria Business Community, Students, Youths, Pressure Groups and the general public to discuss the way forward for peaceful coexistence with the theme: Imperative of conflict and peace building for National Development.

The event will feature a Peace Signing Pack ceremony by members of all political parties in Nigeria toward the 2019 general elections while selected panelist will be drawn to sessions of discuss on Nigeria, a bride in search of peace. The climax of the event will witness the launch of a 78 page book titled: Peace and Tourism the Taraba Experience and issuing a peace ambassador medal to all political aspirants.
